Flyers hopeful Steve Downie is trying to make the team. Last night he went overboard in his efforts to make an impression.  This hit is brutal and led to Dean McAmmond being taken off the ice on a stretcher.  He has a concussion but was able to move his limbs when examined at the hospital.
