Breaking his silence on his personal life’s impact on the his job performance, and whether he will make it through this season, Andy Reid reached out to Fox Sports Jay Glazer to set the record straight.
From the FoxSports website, by Jay Glazer:
After the Eagles got thrashed by the Giants last Sunday night, rumors quickly arose […]
Andy Reid says, “The only way I don’t finish up coaching this year is if I die,”…
Andy Reid to Walk Away?
The Daily Examiner has a short report on a rumor that Andy Reid will step down as head coach of the Eagles.
And Now for Some Potentially Bad News in Philadelphia Sports …
It’s been a constant rumor all year, but after Sunday night’s loss to the Giants, sources close to Andy Reid and the team say […]
What happens if Herremans and Thomas miss games?
The thrashing of the Eagles offense by the Giants D Line was ugly. If Todd Herremans misses any time after having his knee scoped, and if William Thomas remains on the shelf, the entire left side of a line that had played together without interruption for so long will be replaced with inexperienced backups. The […]
Eagles let out a foul smell in the Giant’s swamp
In today’s Daily News, Rich Hoffman has a Brian Westbrook quote in his reporting on last night’s 16-3 debacle in NY. The first part of the quote is a response to the usual, ridiculous “What would you have been able to do to make a difference in this game?” speculative newspaper filler. What 36 adds […]
Dawkins and Westbrook are Questionable for Giants
Brian Westbrook and Brian Dawkins are questionable for the Sunday Night prime time matchup with the Giants. Abdominal injuries are hard to work with for anyone let alone an NFL RB. This is a game that both teams need badly, but maybe it would be better to have Westbrook miss the game. He would […]
Eagles will get win number 2 vs. Giants
The Eagles have shed their early season offensive woes. Even if 36 does not play, they will move the ball against the Giants. The Giants DBs are average. This bodes well for the WRs making plays. The Defensive Coordinator for the Giants, Steve Spagnolo was the Eagles linebackers coach last year and employs a zone […]
Justice will be a factor in Eagles vs Giants on Sunday
I listened to Adam Caplan of www.footballinjuries.com on the Howard Eskin show on 610 WIP this afternoon. He stated that Brian Westbrook who has not been practicing this week would be a game time decision for Sunday, but his big announcement was that RT William Thomas would not play due to the knee sprain he […]
Giants Got Improved Play from Kiwanuka in Win vs Skins
From the NY Daily News:
WALKS THE LINE: After watching LB Mathias Kiwanuka struggle through the first two games, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuologot creative with how he used the former DE, and as a result, Kiwanuka had a a team-high eight tackles and two sacks.A key part of Kiwanuka’s resurgence appeared to be the fact that […]

Eagles Set the Tone on the First 2 Drives in Game 3 Win
The Eagles were ill prepared in their opener in Green Bay, inexplicably came out flat on Monday Night Football, and began game 3 on Sunday looking up from an 0-2 hole at the Lions prowling the Linc. How would they react with their premier defensive backs out, their primary scoring threat nursing a sore knee […]

Just for a laugh!
- Dan Rather, Katie Couric, and a tough Marine Sergeant were all captured by terrorists in Iraq. The leader of the terrorists told them that he would grant them each one last request before they were beheaded. Dan Rather said, "Well, I'm a Texan; so I'd like one last bowlful of hot spicy chili." The leader nodded to an underling who left and returned with the chili. Rather ate it all and said, "Now I can die content." Katie Couric said, "I'm a reporter to the end. I want to take out my tape recorder and describe the scene here and what's about to happen. Maybe someday someone will hear it and know that I was on the job till the end." The leader directed an aide to hand over the tape recorder and Couric dictated some comments. She then said, "Now I can die happy." The leader turned and said, "And now, Mr. Marine tough guy, what is your final wish?" "Kick me in the ass," said the Marine. "What?" asked the leader? "Will you mock us in your last hour?" "No, I'm not kidding. I want you to kick me in the ass," insisted the Marine. So the leader shoved him into the open, and kicked him in the ass. The Marine went sprawling, but rolled to his knees, pulled a 9 mm pistol from under his flack jacket, and shot the leader dead. In the resulting confusion, he jumped to his knapsack, pulled out his M4 carbine and sprayed the terrorists with gunfire. In a flash, all of them were either dead or fleeing for their lives. As the marine was untying Rather and Couric, they asked him, "Why didn't you just shoot them in the beginning? Why did you ask them to kick you in the ass first?" What???" replied the Marine, "and have you two assholes report that I was the aggressor?"
