In 1964, the Phillies cancelled a game with the Dodgers due to rain, when there was no rain falling. Sandy Koufax was scheduled to pitch. The Phillies knew the game had to be made up during the Jewish high holidays, during which the Phillies, and everyone in baseball, knew Koufax would not pitch. You know what happened to the Phils.
